Spring First
I chose, for the spring season, a yellow bird to represent new beginnings and happiness. Surrounding the yellow bird is the blue sky and pink flowers from the tree branch it rests on. The flowers are done in a dark pink and used as another symbol of springtime. I bring back yellow in the flowers as a small connection to the bird at the center of my collage. I have been slowly working on each season for my bird collages, so far those being spring and fall. For this piece in particular, I wanted the background to be blue to represent the light and blues that a perfect spring day can bring.
