Rhodesian Ridgeback
The Rhodesian Ridgeback gets its name from the ridge of fur on their backs. They descend from South Africa where they were used as hunting and guard dogs for local Khoikhoi people. In modern day they are popular coursing and lure-chasing dogs as well as pets.
