Renewing Ritual Flora
This grey stripe with mint flowers is an understated feminine pattern that reminds me of my mother’s flower bed in the fall, as the weather turned all rainy, blooms would wilt and turn grey. This was a time of renewing of the blossoms for my mother. A time of dying, deadheading and a ritual of removing the old to bring new life in the spring.
