Captured last fall in the wee hamlet of Meadows, Manitoba, Canada....It was late in the evening, and the sun was directly behind me, just about to set...Better seen enlarged HERE This old elevator was one of the first built by Paterson Grain Co. on the CPR mainline at the turn of the century. It has stood the test of time and is now abandoned, and not in use at all…. It has been replaced by a modern cement Elevator nearby at Rosser, Manitoba. No other info could be acquired at the time of posting, sorry…Meadows is in the heart of Manitoba’s grain belt, about 45 kms Northwest of Winnipeg 861 Vies/10 faves July 1 2014 Canon XTi, w 55mm Lens, AV 11.0, Shutter speed 1/250, ISO 400.
