Creating this piece, I thought of the importance that Thich Nhat Hanh stressed on mindfulness. "Under the influence of awareness, you become more attentive , understanding, and loving, and your presence not only nourishes you and makes you lovelier, it enhances them as well. Our entire society can be changed by one person's peaceful presence."
I've recently gone through a struggle of finding originality in my art work and owning my craft. Keeping in mind that I will nourish myself and enhance others, I am becoming more mindful of creating unique work and being aware of what comes out of me, be it drawings, words, or actions. Mindfulness leads to enlightenment, so I hope as I share this with you, you are inspired to share your enlightenment with others. Thank you!
