LEMONADE
L E M O N A D E ? Gwithian? I pulled my camera out the bag only to find that my recent trip to Golitha Falls in the rain had totally killed my lens! (the camera wouldn't read it and it won't even manually focus). ? "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!" ? So, I dug out the only other lens I had with me... a "nifty fifty" prime lens (which I only really use for portraits because it's fast). Being a prime lens, I had not scope for zooming to hone compositions. So, I chucked the tripod to one side and tried some ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography. This isn't the first time that ICM has come to the rescue of a kit malfunction either! ? NERDY STUFF ALERT! I was always under the impression that my Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens was weather sealed. Since it's breakdown I've read up on it and found that it isn't! The Canon EF 24-105mm f4L IS II however is said to be splash proof... so I've gone and ordered one. A very costly mistake! ?? My 2023 CORNWALL CALENDAR is now available with FREE DELIVERY!
