The year was 1754, the original artist was Benjamin Franklin. This image was popular during The American Revolution, and represented disunity among the colonies. The superstition was that if one hacked a snake into pieces, and then put those pieces back together before sunset, the snake would come back to life. Indeed, the colonies were disunited on several major issues, but ultimately they came together to fend off British Tyranny. The United States are again similarly divided on several issues, and disunity is rampant. Tyrannical legislation such as The NDAA, The Patriot Act, and several bills aimed at limiting internet-freedom are all too often being pushed through Congress. Unconstitutional Bureaucracies such as The Federal Reserve, The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and The Department of Homeland Security exist, despite their unconstitutionality. This design merges the American Revolution of 1776, with the "R3volution", started in the modern-era by Texas Congressman Ron Paul. Show your support for The continuing R3volution with this image, and urge others to "Join The R3volution".
