Hand Lettered Open Door Scripture
"Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it..." Revelation 3:8 (kjv),
This is one of a number of illuminated scriptures I made when in my teens. I have used the capital letters in other works, but have decided to put these out 'as is'. There are about a dozen of them altogether.
In this quote, Jesus is speaking to the church at Philadelphia in Asia Minor - of all of the seven churches, Philadelphia seemed to be the one He viewed most favorably.
