Gomukha (Interlock) Mudra

Practiced while meditating or reflecting, the Gomukha Mudra symbolizes the merging of the physical and mental components of the yogi. The right thumb represents the body, the left thumb the mind. The thumbs can rest one on top of the other or joined at the tips (as in the picture).
This mudra produces a great harmonizing effect on the mind and body, reminding the yogi that while manifesting on the physical and mental planes, we exist to serve the one Spirit beyond creation.
