Freedom
Freedom 20x30" Oil on Canvas, this work sets out to capture that feeling of wide open spaces at the beach. The sand under foot, the fresh crisp morning air filled and salty sea breeze and those first warm rays of sunshine on your skin. Spinning around with arms outstretched being a kid and loving every moment. The freedom of being outside.
This was a piece that I began and completed during our Covid-19 Alert Level 4 - home isolation in Auckland New Zealand and it was everything I needed. I hope it will bring joy to others during these tough times and in the future.
