Flight Risk
A female Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly takes off from a thistle after feeding. Due to the strong sun and fast shutter speed, I was able to catch her in flight. Amazing how well they can fly even when they have so much damage to their wings. Carl Kohler Park, Horsham, PA-US.
