Elizabethan Express
The Elizabethan Express leaves Kings Cross for Edinburgh in 1954, hauled by Gresley's A4 Class Pacific, British Railways No. 60017 'Silver Fox', one of the original 4 A4s built for the SilverJubilee service in 1935.
This painting was inspired by a still taken from the 1954 British Transport Commission short film "Elizabethan Express".
