Deep Current
Vivid cobalt and cyan pool at the lower edges of this composition while dark, layered earth tones — umber, olive, maroon and deep purple — occupy the centre like a submerged landmass. Orange and pink glow at the upper corners. The painting captures the tension between depth and surface, dark and luminous. Original abstract watercolour on paper by Delhi-based artist Rishabh Kapoor.
