Alhambra Series: Rose
After a recent visit to the Alhambra in Granada. Andalucia, Spain, I have been inspired to create a range of new patterns and designs based on the architecture, tiles, marble, stone, woodcarvings and beautiful flowers and gardens in these amazing buildings.
A series of artworks inspired by centuries old designs - classic with a retro yet overall modern, quirky twist.
Still trying out new ideas really... experimenting with shape, form, colour and composition. Lots more in the pipeline. Please contact me if there's anything in particular that you might like - ie colour combinations etc..
Will also (when I get the time) be making a whole series of more abstracted patterns based on some of these original images.
