A View From Ribblehead
The view from Blea Moor Road (B6255) near the Ribblehead Viaduct. Here we look across the Yorkshire Dales towards Pen y Ghent late in the afternoon in early July. At 2277ft (694m) this is the smallest of the three peaks of the Dales , the other two being Whernside and Ingleborough. Much of the Dales an area of uplands and river valleys in a designated National Park created in 1954.
