Unfurl

I decided to return to my first painting Engel in order to see if I was just lucky on my first piece. It was also to see what new techniques I have acquired since my former art teacher moved to greener pastures (just a few lessons De, maybe oils?). One of the inspirations for the way this piece turned out is my new found adoration for tattoos. I love the contrast of bits of colour against a black and white background and this seemed like a nifty image to give a go on.
