How do we deal with that? Do we give up and let ourselves drown, or do we choose to see the beauty and the growth that can come from a season of hardship? As a Christian artist, it has become important for me to incorporate my faith into my creativity. My faith and my art are never two separate works. All the paintings in this collection carry personal stories of times where my faith grew deeper, times where I was comforted by the promises of the One I set my hopes in. Through that, I’ve been able to learn how to see beauty in pain. Whether you are a believer or not, I hope this collection will bring you hope, peace and comfort. // Livet kan være smertefullt. Det er også fantastisk, fint og spennende, men uansett hvor hardt vi prøver kan vi aldri unngå smerte. Hvordan håndterer vi det? Gir vi opp og lar oss selv drukne, eller velger vi å se skjønnheten og veksten som kan komme etter en tid av motgang? Som en kristen er det blitt viktig for meg å inkludere troen i min kreativitet. Min tro og min kunst er aldri to separate emner. Alle maleriene i denne kolleksjonen bærer personlige historier fra eget liv, hvor min tro vokste dypere, hvor jeg fant trøst i løftene fra Ham jeg setter min lit til.
