Shiva is one of the three main deities of the Hindu trinity. He is the creator and the destroyer of the world. He has two children, Ganesha and Skanda, and his wife’s name is Uma. He stays in a great magical palace on the top of Kailash mountain. Sometimes Shiva wears tiger-skin or snake skin clothes, or sometimes with a symbol of a small piece of moon on his knotted hair, carrying beads and sitting in meditation.
