The original photograph is of the bomb bay of a Handley Page Victor K2 aircraft, taken at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, Shropshire
Designed and in service as a strategic nuclear bomber, some were converted to in-flight refuelling tankers and remained in service until 1993. Much use was made of them in the 1982 Falklands campaign and the 1991 Gulf War.
It's odd to think that at one time in fairly recent history this is the section of the aircraft that housed a nuclear bomb. How lucky we are that it was never used in anger.
