    Tiger Pattern
Tiger.. an animal that has the possibility of becoming extinct in my lifetime. Several subspecies have already gone extinct. The tiger, that has existed for over 2 million years, gone in a fraction of the time as we humans overtook Earth. As a species, we are drawn to tigers; they’re powerful, deadly, and, of course, gorgeous animals. Good or bad, more tigers exist in captivity than in the wild.. I always thought it was cool how tigers have “false eyes” on the back of their ears. Some say it’s a defense mechanism, to spook other animals from approaching it. Another explanation is that it’s a warning sign, exaggerating the fact that the tiger is sour mood. Just like a house cat, tigers lower their ears when upset, highlighting the white spot ♥
