Synco o Cybersyn fue un proyecto chileno de planificación económica controlada en tiempo real, desarrollado en los años del gobierno de Salvador Allende Gossens, entre 1971 y 1973.[1] En esencia, se trataba de una red de máquinas de teletipo que buscaba comunicar, en tiempo real, a las fábricas del país con un único centro de cómputo en Santiago, donde el gobierno, a través de un software de análisis bayesiano,[2] pronosticaría el comportamiento de los medios de producción industrial.[3] Es decir, se recibiría, procesaría y analizaría información sobre la producción de las fábricas, empleando los principios de la cibernética.
