    Red Moon Rising
Red Moon Rising A lone figure stood at the edge of the world, shrouded in an eerie white glow. Before them, a gnarled tree stretched its skeletal branches toward the blood-red moon, a celestial wound in the ink-black sky. The ground beneath their feet trembled as the reflection in the water pulsed like a heartbeat. They had been waiting here for centuries, a guardian of a forgotten promise. Each night, the red moon rose, bringing whispers from the void, voices of those lost in time. Tonight, the whispers grew louder, forming words that twisted in the air like smoke. The Watcher did not flinch. They had seen the sky crack open before, had felt the cold breath of something vast and ancient pressing against reality’s thin veil. The tree had stood as a barrier between realms, but the barrier was weakening. As the red moon swelled, the Watcher stepped forward, their glowing silhouette merging with the darkness. They had one task—to keep the night from consuming everything. And tonight, they might fail.
