"Letting Go" is a deeply personal and emotional artwork that captures my journey through profound loss and transformation. After losing my first husband when our daughter was just six months old, I then remarried and navigated the complexities of forming a blended family—an experience fraught with challenges. This painting was created during a pivotal moment when my daughter started kindergarten, symbolizing the difficulty of releasing control and embracing change. The swirling branches and vibrant colors reflect both the chaos and beauty of life transitions. Hanging now in my youngest daughter's room, the piece serves as a poignant reminder of resilience and the enduring cycles of love and growth within a family.
