BLESSED
The Holy Spirit enables us to do something that is beyond our human condition to do: He empowers us to be God's agents in this world. He allows us to walk on divine ground and makes us BLESSED and BLESSERS of those to whom we are sent. It allows us to have the ability to prophesy, that is, to hear from God and to preach his will to the world. We will be the ones for whom the world will hear the voice of the Lord. But some people cannot be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, because their lives still need to be purified before they can be used by the Holy Spirit. Even though He came to live in our lives when we are converted, we need to give permission for Him to transform us according to God's will. As a cup needs to be washed before it can be used, so our lives need to go through a process of inner cleansing, so that we can reach the fullness of the power that God gives us through his Holy Spirit. He convicts us of our sin. He shows us where we are going wrong, what we need to change and who we need to forgive and ask for forgiveness. The Holy Spirit will take us to the depths of our being, so that we can transform our lives in such a way, that the power of God in us can perfect our weakness, so that we are transformed into the servants that the Lord wants.
