View Larger on Chockstone Photography The aptly named Sunset Rock lookout provides a sweeping view of Wilson’s Gully, Mitchell’s Ridge and Victoria Pass from an easily accessible crag near the little town of Mount Victoria in the ever popular Blue Mountains about an hour west of Sydney. Parking is limited, and there are zero facilities, but if you want to escape the more crowded views around Katoomba and Blackheath, this one might be just the ticket. Mount Victoria is the western most village in the Blue Mountains. It is heritage listed and hosts many historic buildings. Whilst there also check out Victoria Falls and Mount Piddington for bush walks. Other nearby lookouts include Pulpit Rock and Bede’s Lookout.
