View Larger on Chockstone Photography Millers Hut is the fifth highest mountain hut in Victoria. It sits nestled amongst some lovely gums in the lee of Mt Wellington in Victoria's Alpine National Park not far from good camping beside the Moroka River. A fair distance from Licola, its pleasant surrounds are enjoyed by hikers, horse riders and to a lesser extent four wheel drivers up for a river crossing and some serious rock hopping. Its peaceful, isolated setting is rather wonderful in the early morning light with nothing but bird song for company. Possibly because it's hard to access, it makes it all the more rewarding.
