Second Sign Scare (Taurus) Pattern
This is the pattern version of the second design in my Western/tropical astrology series, which incorporates my creepy, curly aesthetic. I’ve decided to represent what I have observed as broader and more universal aspects of Taurus: its symbol, the body parts with which it is most associated, its ruling planet, etc. While I am not an expert in any type of astrology, I have been an enthusiastic student for quite some time, and wanted to reflect that via one of my favorite mediums. This piece was constructed from both vintage and modern ephemera. I’m a Taurus Moon, so I’m delighted to have completed one sign in my Big Three!
