For this challenge add your images that fit the Order – Hemiptera

Not to be confused with Order – Coleoptera (These images will be removed).

Interesting Fact

Hemiptera meaning half wings. Known as ‘True Bugs’ and for their sucking mouths parts used to extract fluids from plants and animals.

Order – In scientific classification used in biology, the order (Latin: ordo) is a taxonomic rank used in the classification of organisms. Or in simple terms a name given to a group of animals, plants, fungi that are similar in some way, closely related, have something in common.

Judging / Voting Criteria

Vote for your favourite.

Rewards & Prizes

1st place winners will have their photo used as the group Avatar for a period of time.
Then 1st, 2nd and 3rd will have their photo’s permanently posted on the groups Feature Board.
1st place member will be become a featured member.
