PLEASE READ

Herein “botanical” refers to flowers, leaves, ferns, seed pods, gumnuts etc.

This is the place for beautiful botanical art creations, where artistry and composition include a majority of botanical elements such as flowers, leaves etc. The botanical aspects are to comprise the dominant proportion of the image. Not just one flower filling the frame for example or another element (e.g. animal) dominating the scene. NO dominating animals or people, faces etc. Any medium except straight-photography, so digital, vector, patterns, painting, illustrations etc. are good. See examples below or in the featured images.

PLEASE READ RULES FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION

No as-is photography. (Exceptions: diptych, triptych) The flowers need to be heavily developed, altered, manipulated, created using software programs.

Examples of what this group is about. Note variety of elements in composition.
