The Campdrafter-Group Features

Thank you so much to the hosts of VaVoom and WomenPainters for featuring my painting “The Campdrafter” in your groups. This painting was commissioned and now hangs proudly in its new home, so I am pleased to see it recognised here. I am inspired now to do a whole series of rodeo paintings. Much appreciated!

Poetry Feature

My recent poem “Thought” was feature for March in the A Place To Start Group. I have never had a poem featured before, thank you so much. I wrote about hidden illness as I was lying in bed one day in pain, unable to do anything but look out the window at a bird flitting around in a tree. That I found creativity in that was a source of some pleasure to me on a difficult day. I appreciate the recognition, thank you to the hosts.

Thank you to the hosts of Women Painters Group for featuring my little painting “Taking a Rest”. This was a spontaneous work that I really enjoyed painting.

Watercolour Features

Two of my recent Watercolours have been featured this week. Thanks to the hosts of the groups for choosing to recognised my work, it always encouraging.

Bearded Lady Purple Iris was featured in Artists with Disabilities
And Flyaway, Flyaway, Flyaway was featured in A Place To Start.

Thanks again!

I have returned to the fold...

I have not been on redbubble for 18 months or more….maybe 2 years…as I have not painted for that long. Life takes strange twists and turns. Everything on RB has changed…I wonder if any of my old buddies are still here?

I am about to start painting again…having thrown off the obstacles that were preventing me…..I would love to hear from any of my old pals on here who remember me.

Best in Show

My oil painting St Magnus Cathedral was chosen as Best in Show in the Painters Universe Group- Thank you so much to the hosts- I am thrilled to bits.

Does anyone know why I can’t seem to load a picture of my painting from my iPhone? The fancyloader won’t come up to let me add work. Is it to do with the iPhone I wonder? Can anyone advise?

Indigenous Exhibition

Gumbaynggir artist Keene Ballangarry is holding an exhibition of his fantastic contemporary Aboriginal art at 43 High St, Bowraville on the NSW mid north coast. Keene is a brilliant emerging artist- his paintings should be in major galleries. Please support him if you can, he really needs it.
PS… Am missing my bubble friends so much, but only have net access via iPhone at present and this keypad is made for children’s fingers! Am busy painting though … Hope you are all well…
