So, here is the deal. Many of you are probably aware that many magazines, e-zines and competitions will not accept previously published works. Apparently this also includes online publishing in forums and communities like RB.

Previously, I used forums and communities for the majority of feedback on new pieces and now I’m seeking an alternative. It would work like this:

Ø Every member has the group email list.
Ø Once a month they submit a piece for critique by the group’s members.
Ø In return they critique at least 3 emailed pieces of work during that month.

Basically it’s exactly the same as forum critiquing but afterwards we still have a piece that can be submitted elsewhere.

I’m interested in hearing people’s ideas about this. I’ll incorporate all this information into the first introductory email and see what happens from there!
