These stories are all arriving out of order, but we’re getting there. Martin had not long returned from a holiday in the big City before a stranger turned up in his little town. She would have quite an influence…
He Knew it and She Knew it Aint nothing left to say cos they were just made that way
This is a poem about my life spent living with a mean drunk. I am in the process of shedding the skin I had to grow just so I could keep breathing in that life. Let me just say, it was mighty hard. But…light cannot be covered; it always finds a way to shine.
I guess this is up for debate…..
Told from the point of view of a dead pet, waiting for its owner to join it so it can cross the bridge to Heaven.

As stated in my pervious poems I like to write about things that most people wouldn’t. Most of my poetry is raw truth, not sugar-coated. This one was probably my favorite but the hardest for me to write. I touch on a lot of subjects in this piece and they are all things going on in our society today. The title sums it all up…because I believe prayers for mercy are what we are going to need if humanity continues on the path its on now.
Just a few notes from a Sunday afternoon.
I never experienced a more difficult sense of culture shock, than I have upon returning home to the West after living in Japan for various periods of time. I have traveled plenty, and even had to move a lot as a child, and can therefore adopt to new surroundings quite easily, and at most times with intrigue… but returning to what was once my familiar surroundings, always proved to be a very difficult and painful adjustment. It can be a rather heart wrenching and confusing process to one day wake up in the Western world again, after having been immersed in an entirely different culture on the other side of the world for several months at a time.. / Thank goodness for time, as it seems to be a good cure for many things… and I am finally starting to enjoy living in the West again.
I’m a mood swinging teenager who just needed some kind words, thank you =)
I’d like to thank my dear friend bloo for helping me fix this up, you’re my boy.
A wonderful trip it was, to the Sinai desert in Egypt, just over the border of Israel. / I had found a place where the locals seemed to appreciate hot tea throughout the day, as I always have. I normally drink my tea straight, but I will sometimes sweeten it with sugar to remind me of the Sinai and my memorable time there.. / That visit was many years ago… maybe 13, or 14… but this taste still conjures up memories of that time.
If you are new to this story, you may want to start here with Chapter One Thank you all so much for reading and your help and comments. Please let me know what your thoughts are, I’m adjusting this as we go. Chapter Eight is brewing.
This piece of writing follows up from; He loves me, He loves me not… I’ll never …..be with you Thank you for reading, your support is much appreciated
