I created this character a little while ago. She started as an old sketch I did years ago (while I was still at school, I think). I thought that she was worth re-visiting. For such a quick image I thik I’m really happy with her. Her costume and setting is kind of a clash between oriental and celtic, but I think it works OK. She has kind of a Briar Rose look about her.

This plane looks retro through and through. I’m pretty suprised it actually flies given its wingspan. It was used extensively by the USAF and the German Luftwaffe. One experimantal version had an additonal rocket engine that could see the plane almost leave the atmosphere and give the pilot up to 90 seconds of weightlessness!
