A design I made from one of my painting on Yupo paper. It’s the view you get going out of the seabus from North Vancouver to Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)
An evening of boating among the Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada, often has the added benefit of quite wonderful skyscapes. Especially in May and June, we get these cloud formations that have a wide variety of shades and colours. At times it looks like a downpour is imminent, but it seldom is at that time of year. This view was taken a few miles off Sidney, a town on the Saanich Peninsula just north of the city of Victoria. The large hump at the right is Salt Spring , the largest of the southern group of islands. BTW, it might appear that this is an HDR image; it isn’t, I prefer not to use it. / Taken June 17, 2009 / Fuji S100FS camera.
a man playing his guitar on commercial drive, vancouver bc, canada. this is not the first time i’ve taken his picture before, but this is the one that’s turned out well. he likes to yell at people that walk by, specially if someone tries to take his picture and walk away from him, like i did. he’s quite crude in personality. don’t remember much of his talent playing the guitar either, but he sure turned out well in this picture. i had my earphones on the whole time, and i could still hear him yelling ‘hey! hey! young man! hey!’ lol i just kept on walking like nothing happened. kind of felt bad, but oh well. i saw him again a week after this encounter, and he was yelling “what’re you taking pictures for!?” he kept on saying that until i disappeared after i decided to hop on the bus. Location : Commercial Drive, Vancouver bc / Canada
Seriously, why can’t it be like this everyday? took this last summer at English Bay beach, Vancouver BC, Canada
English Bay, Vancouver Bc / Canada. A lifeguard mans the waterslide while keeping an eye on people both on the water and on the slide. Took this last summer as part of my Project 365 Street Photography Journey, where i set out everyday and took pictures of the city streets and urban life.
I took this last summer as part of my Street Photography 365 Project, where i set out every single day of the summer and took photos and documented the city streets every single day, well, almost. This was around the time when i started to really get to grips with my camera, and had full knowledge of how everything worked. / On this particular day, i decided to take everything up a notch and focus on the smaller, but more important details and aesthetics instead of just pointing my camera at people. so i came up with this light study. Location : West Georgia Street, Vancouver BC Canada
