Vampires at the movies

Lol Damien, yeah we have very different opinions. And I have seen Dracula 2000 2, but I thought it had another name, plus I didn’t like that one either so I didn’t think it was worth a mention. I’m very picky when it comes to my vampire movies :)

Haha :)
Wondering if the difference is in how we see vampires, like seeing them as monsters vs wanting to be one, LOL!

Oh, you mentioned Twilight. I still haven’t read the book, but the movie’s out soon, link

LOL, oh no! The puppet version :)
I’m going to see Twilight tomorrow, so I hope it’s good!!

Steve, I sorta know what you mean with Dusk til Dawn! I went to see it, and forgot I was watching a vamp movie with the way the first half runs, LOL! But I didn’t mind it. We get to watch Quentin die for starters, heheh!!

Well, saw Twilight today. Overall I liked it, although found I rolled my eyes many times as the movie progressed. The cinema crowd was ~90% teen girls, so I’ll admit I was concerned right from the start about how it was going to pan out, LOL!

Has anyone seen Bathory yet? Anna Friel stars as the Countess Bathory, written and directed by the Slovak filmmaker Juraj Jakubisko in 2008. The film is based on the story of Elizabeth Báthory, a 16th/17th century Hungarian countess. Her story takes place in a part of the Kingdom of Hungary, now Slovakia. She is infamous for killing many young women because — according to legend — she thought that bathing in their blood would preserve her youth. Eventually the royal authorities investigated, and she was walled up in her castle, where she died three years later. It was originally made in English language however as it was released originally only in Slovakia and Czech Republic it has been overdubbed in the native language – I havent found the original engish speaking version but I’ve got a version with english sub-titles and will hopefully be watching it later tonight – it looks a good watch and has had great reviews. I’ve been told to watch this version before Hollywood sinks its teeth in and makes a “plastic” remake….I’ll let you know what I think of it.
