Twisted Tales
New Prize Competition: "Twisted Karaoke" (locked)
This competition finished without any conclusion because Daren left Red Bubble.
I am delighted to announce the start of the second Twisted Tales prize short story competition. This one is entitled: Twisted Karaoke The aim here is write a story with a twist where the title of the story is also the title of a song. It can be in any genre, on any theme. As long as it is titled after and inspired by the name of a song. (We don’t want stories where the song is simply playing in the background – the title and/or the song itself should be central to the plot). Stories can be up to a 1000 words in total and the closing date is midnight (BST) on 13 June. There is only one entry per member allowed. All stories should be linked here in the competition thread and contain the tag “TTC2”. In the “description” section of your written work please ensure to tell us who the song is by. The judges will then pick one winner and two runners up, using our usual voting system. First prize is at least a £25 Amazon gift voucher. However, we will attempt to gain prize donations from other sources and will notify you if this is the case. We are keen that 2nd and 3rd place should also be rewarded, so will do our best. So you have two months to get yourselves twisting in a music inspired way! Any questions, then please do contact me. Best of luck! |
