This photo was taken in a local ruined building, its a fantastic place, great for photography….. I really liked this photo because of the incorporation of the band posters on the wall, a friend and i spent about an hour just looking at the layers and layers of posters on the walls, and my friend even found a poster of his dads old band in one of the rooms from about 30 years ago…

I am so new here – but I would like to say a great big HELLOOOOOO to all of you, especially to those lovely people who have so generously greeted us and left such wonderful comments on our works. / TwirlyAngel is just a name – in reality we are a husband and wife team – Carol-Anne and Rainer Kozik, and we have been operating as KozikArt for a while now. / To let you know a little bit about us: / please have a look at our web-site: www.wyatt-software.com/gc / For most of our lives we have lived, breathed, dreamt, (and even eaten for breakfast), the world of fantasy…... / we truly believe there is not enough MAGICK in this world, and so between the two of us we are trying to bring back a little old-fashioned magic, love and fantasy. For instance, today we have spent the most part of the day taking photos of faieries in our backyard…..... before you dismiss us as ‘wackos” – let me explain – I (Carol) have been lucky enough to have had 2 of my manuscripts accepted by a literary agent, and so we are now concentrating solely on this. With this in mind, we have (with the help of my youngest son, Andrew), been taking photos of my characters, whch we will then use as 3D images in my upcoming books. This is my entry into the For Living Christianity group competition, day three, Genesis. this is a sunset taken a couple of weeks ago here in Irvine, California a few years ago combined with several sunset images I took here in Mohave Valley, Arizona a couple of weeks ago. I used Photoshop CS3 to overlay the images. Then I used Photomatix to enhance the final image into an HDR image. The intent was to create the awsomeness of the creation of the Earth, unlike any other event in history. The power and beauty of our Awsome Creator. Images Do Not Belong To The Public Domain. Some creepy flying things I came up with using a rendering from Apophysis. I created the Helper in a separate image, and duplicated him in the final image. I applied orton/sepia tone. Medium : Water Color Markers on illustration Board / Size 2’ x 4’ / Year completed : 1991 This illustration is part of a collection of artwork I did while in the military entitled, “The Army Years”, / I served in the Army National Guard for 5 years, and the regular Army for 4 years. / One of the main reasons I got out of the military is because i didn’t have much time to do my art work. While I was stationed in Germany I did a few poster, and banners for a German/ American Play house, and i was in a European art show. / This illustration was done during The Desert Shield / Desert Storm, during this war many soldier were afraid that are military equipment would fail to function do to the desert sand. While i was station in Germany, I attended a christian hospitality house, that ministered to military personnel, and their families. I knew and heard of soldiers who died or were wounded in the war, / we prayed for God’s protection for those we knew were in harms way. / I believe the reason the casualties were low for the collision force is because God gave them a swift victory on the battle field. No one should think that it was just might , and smart bombs, Iraq had the 4th largest military in the world. / The bible teaches that God, causes the rise and the fall of nations. / / Decoding the symbolism : The ” v ” with lighting bolt shooting out of it =God giving the collision forces victory over the Iraq’s military. The large bold eagle with the arrows in it’s right talon , and with it’s left talon open to attack, = the U.S. attacking Iraq. / The banner mad up of the flag of the collision,tie to the eagles open talon= / The U.S. leading the collision nation in war against Iraq . The necklace with the cross attached to it, around the eagle’s neck = / God protect around the U.S. forces, result of intercessory prayer of Christians. The flag of Iraq illustrated in the shape of the geological area mass of country, being shattered by the lighting = God judging Iraq, by giving the collision power to conquer Iraq, and occupy her land. / The land mass colored red at the bottom corner of Iraq = the country Kuwait , that Iraq invaded, that was the cause of the war. I have a plan. As gentle persuasion and polite requests for hosts to stop have fallen on deaf ears just send a bubblemail as a reply to each of them. If a group host sends an unnecessary group bubblemail to 300 members and we all reply they will receive 300 bubblemails. in return. If they send out loads of unnecessary group bubblemails they’ll receive an exponential number in return and it will serve them bloody right. Go on, get replying to those pointless group bubblemails. If we ALL start doing it they may finally get the message. STOP SENDING UNNECESSARY GROUP BUBBLEMAILS!!! Martin.
