Group Rules:

1. The post must be of a sunset or sunrise.

2. The rule of thumb for the moderators to accept or reject a post is the following: The shot must be toward the setting or rising sun. It doesn’t have to actually include the sun itself but the camera must be pointed toward the direction of the setting or rising sun (visible rays and obvious brightness are more convincing). For shots of the LIGHT created by the setting or rising sun there is a group called Dawn and Dusk Light. (These shots would inevitably be shot away from the setting sun. This will most likely be the reason your work is rejected, but don’t worry, here is your other option!)

3. As this is a subject with an enormous appeal for photographers, please only post TWO shots a day and total number of posts in the group is limited to ten, so make it your best.

4. If you are posting a journal that is not about the theme of the group but is rather a communique to the members, please address the members by saying something like “Hi Sunsetters” or the like. Please remove the journal within the appropriate time frame if it is dated (to plan a meet, for example).

5. A maximum of ten works per member.

6. No other rules at present.
