The City

The City is here!

The softcover book slips neatly into an attractive sleeve and as the fourth in RedBubble’s series of community generated art books, makes a fine addition to its predecessors.

The submissions to The City show that no two cities are the same and while our enthusiasm for constructing mindboggling structures doesn’t cease, growing with it is the sense of isolation and loneliness that can come from numbering an anonymous crowd.

Within this are reminders of the unflagging human spirit, its capacity for beauty and glimpses of nature that for all we seem to try to ignore, will always serve to evoke the memory of the natural world from whence we came and to where we return.
