Hello wordsmiths and scribblers,

Just thought I’d drop you a little note to introduce myself officially to the group as a new co-host and jump right on in to our world of Spherical Scriptings. Over the last week or so, I’ve been rollicking through the past forums and challenges with a fresh hungry host eye in comparison to trawling through them as a hungry group member. I take the feather in my cap off to Empress Kate who did an enormously stellar job and who’s shoes I shan’t even attempt to fill.

I shall however throw my suitcase of heels into the mix to do my best to sail this strong well-round group of incredible writers into continued inspiration and motivation with the main aim of having a place to pin our penned short stories. Starting with… launching the first group challenge we’ve had since the Sugar High mega-challenge last October.

Make sure you skip over to our forums page to check it out. The challenge is launched today and wraps up the night of Easter Monday – you’ve got between now and the end of four days off to get cracking and flex your short story muscles that have maybe been sleeping for a while. We need a new line up of featured members and featured work… please do throw your words in the ring.
