Wordless Ghosts Speak to Me in the Language of Jasmine…...clinging to his wordless silhouette
Yes the jasmine is blooming and sometimes you just need to write the damn dream down.
Beginning of a 150 page story I wrote years ago about combining lives and friends’ childhoods.

It’s Hallowe’en tonight in Australia, and that always sends me to my altar with a full heart and a knowing smile. All the best for this cycle…....
A friend shared a tale with me just recently and I couldn’t help but embroider it somewhat… This writing is entirely a work of fiction. The names, characters and incidents protrayed in it are the work of the author’s imagination. This is actually the thought stream of genrobey.. we decided to collab the idea and frame her quirky thoughts in a simple story.

Thanks Genrobey for the prompt: “wasnt a dream as such … it was a story about a woman’s life being wasted away by her obsession with the lotto, scratchies etc (i was thinking about everyone’s interest in the latest oz lotto) ...”
Based on personal experiences….
Been a while since i had a story pop into my head. I have been working on ones already in exsistence…lol.
I Was Over Powered By an Angel I remember a day that I was asked to get my bowling coach certification and was told that the bowling alley would pay for the classes. We rented a van as eight of us decided to trek the 300 miles across Texas to get tested. On the way back is when something happened that made me believe an angel was watching over me. / It was in the middle of the night and everybody was asleep in van and I was driving. Everybody else was tired and they turned the keys over to me. It was kind of strange because a brother and sister in the group had committed themselves to do all the driving. We were on our way back home and out of nowhere I was asked to drive since I appeared to be the only one not tired, and of course I said yes. / We were on the expressway and it is customary to drive on the right lane so that others can pass on the left. In those times there were only two lanes going one way and two coming back the other way. Everybody knew the laws in our state so there was nothing unusual about that. / I was on the right lane as we came to an over pass and I believed that I was the only one out driving that late at night because there were no car lights anywhere close by. I was driving at about 65 mph and we were cursing along. Then after the next over pass I somehow steered the van to the left lane and I kept driving there for about 15 minutes or so. / For no apparent reason I couldn’t steer back to the right where I was supposed to in the first place. On the next over pass as I reached the top a car passed me going on the opposite direction and on the right side of the road. He somehow had gotten on the wrong side and he was headed towards us. If I would have kept on the right side of the expressway as I was suppose to, we would rammed head on into each other at speeds that would most certainly kill all or most of us. / I remember looking through me rear view mirror as one of the ladies woke up and asked me why I looked spooked. I told her to look behind us and she too could see the rear lights of the car that had zoomed passed us in the wrong side of the expressway and heading the wrong way too. Everybody woke up and the rest of the night was used talking about the close call. / Nobody could understand how I had changed lanes at the right time and a major accident had been avoided. When we reached our own town the word spread of how we had escaped with our life’s that night. The rest of the group also indicated that someone had been looking out for us. I knew than that an angel had taken my steering wheel and over powered me and forced me to change lanes. What else am I to believe? /
He came to Brooklyn. He found this friend, and when all his friends turned violent, he didn’t know where he was anymore.
