so here i am in my cold bedroom with the heater crankin, builing my new website. (updating an existing one with a new look) www.heathholdenphotography.com no real dreamweaver experience, i’m learning as i screw up. hope you all take a look at it, there is a long way to go. the sport gallery works, i have a few panoramics in the panoramic section too, not the island panoramic link. if anyone has some handy hints about making a flash type banner/slideshow to put on my front page i’d love to hear (so you click on the pics and they scroll across one picture). i dont even know what it is called. let me know what you all think. heath.

W&TW ART GALLERY / Contemporary Texan Art Gallery Exhibiting Contemporary art by women living and working within the state of Texas in a variety of mediums including photography, painting, installation, video, and sculpture. An artist may exhibit her work in the gallery in a solo or group exhibition. To be considered for a solo or group show, one must respond to the W&TW Call for Entries. Applicants submit slides of their work, a one page artist statement, and resume. An artist advisory panel (6-10 artists who represent different regions of Texas and different mediums) evaluates the applicants on the strength of their artwork and then selects the individuals for exhibition. To be considered for a solo exhibition, one must be female, a Texas resident, and no longer a student. One need not have contributed financially to apply for a solo or group exhibition.

Quite simply, this group is about….shoes!
It can be a fetish but shoes are an art form alone. Some shoes are art. I know I have bought a few and cannot wear them and so have made them into art. I do printmaking and do prints of shoes, perhaps you make sculpture out of shoes, or maybe you like to photograph people and their shoes, Shoes must feature in the picture, right now this group is open to post as many shoes as you like. I may moderate closer lately. Please keep it to shoes only.
