We found a Poppy field the other day – we managed to get a little lost and we stopped for a look at the map and escaped the confines of the car to profit a little from the scenery and of course the Poppies….unfortunately most of them had finished flowering but I still found that the Poppy seed heads and the last remaining Poppies looked just as pretty. I couldn’t resist a little SC :) Canon eos 400d (yes I still use it!) / F/18 / 1/2500 seconds / ISO 1600 / FL 300mm / Hand Held
For those of you that like to make a certain part of a photo completely stand out using color. Selective Color is a post processing technique where most of a photo is converted to black and white, but some parts are left in color.
It would also wonderful if members would discuss their inspirations and techniques as there are many ways to achieve this effect. Please post your best and most artistic images. I look forward to seeing you here.
