The Carmel Farmers Market (CFM), a growers-only market, isTel Aviv’s biggest and busiest marketplace filled with colorful stalls and shouting vendors selling a variety of goods, from dried fruits and exotic spices to clothing and footwear an exciting and bountiful place to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, eggs and plants. Many vendors have their own songs, which tell you all about the price and quality of what is being sold. Sometimes one vendor sings against another in a competitive duet. The market runs into side streets, large and small, one side favoring dry goods, and the other dried beans, fruit, nuts, and spices in all colors and fragrances, sold from sacks. *

Talking to this man at a local museum was spell binding, listening to stories and understanding our past.. It was refreshing..

Phew this one took awhile in the making, fresh Apples and Lemons (was all out of Oranges) dropped into crystal clear Water with a little magical lighting, then over to Photoshop to create the dramatic iridescent effect to Water which I was after to enhance it’s movement, Color, and contours against the Black background.

Trippy Flower Power Work Details (for DAC group) / - the big daisy flower photograph sourced from publicdomainpictures.net / - bubble brushes courtesy of brusheezy.com / - astral brushes sourced from brusheezy.com / - remainder of images from my personal collection I dont often describe the process involved, so hope this helps! / I cleaned up all images of the flowers, deleted backgrounds, smoothed edges… / The bubbles were strategically placed :) in a new layer / The flowers then arranged within the bubbles / (always work with seperate layers) / Colour overlays added to the flower layer…. / New layer underneath, added background effects using abstract and astral brushets, resizing, finding the right spot…all that jazz :) / Another new layer… paint it black… put it to the back of the pile / Another layer… signature… strategically place it in an a fitting place / Now pick a random layer… sign it somewhere unobtrusive… but somewhere that will mar the overall image if ever attempted to be removed by another party… / Go back to the flower layer / burn and dodge are great friends when used with the same logic as an eraser and pencil / using this logic, shade the flowers… add the light… / This resulted in ‘pic one’ . / This was then repeated four times with different composition and colours. / Then I merged all four pics onto the one, moved them around to where i wanted them. / Then save it in layers! just in case :) / flatten it / and with that great little smudge tool, fix up the background effects so the whole image is linked/overlapping.. / Then save! / That was the process involved in creating this piece :) / (all done in photoshop CS3) Click on any category above for that genre… or / Click here to go back to my profile page ... thanx :)

My own wording and original idea which I used many years ago in creating personal hand-made Christmas cards for my family and friends. For this card I used the scroll line art which I found in my Clip Art file collection of some 20 years ago (when material was supplied on those 3.5 inch floppy disks), coloured inside the lines and added my wording to create an unusual Christmas card for everyone to enjoy. The lemon is used for culinary and nonculinary purposes throughout the world. The fruit is used primarily for its juice, though the pulp and rind (zest) are also used, primarily in cooking and baking. Lemon juice is about 5% (approximately 0.3 mole per liter) citric acid, which gives lemons a tart taste, and a pH of 2 to 3. This makes lemon juice an inexpensive, readily available acid for use in educational science experiments. Lemons are also known for their sourness. Because of the tart flavor, many lemon-flavored drinks and candies are available on the market, including lemonade. Enjoy this sweet & passionate image which is loaded full of lots of contrast & focus. Balance has also been achieved within the composition of quite a unique piece.
