Some artwork for the upcoming Drop To Zero cd coming this summer http://www.myspace.com/droptozero Can you feel them calling? Like a heart that’s built on loss, / Their prison keeps them hostage, / Star e out the car window and watch the mills that pass me by, / The pillars standing tall are lined with ghosts that speak from their dark eyes, / Can we call them wrong? Can we see through canine orbits? / Can we dance the devil’s dance and walk two steps in their shoes? / Desperate killers will hunt, / Fight now, try to keep up, / This town, souls that tried to hide from rain in paper towers, / Sunk down, treading in mud, / This town, lost are raising generations of the losing, / This west of Eden Yahweh had in mind, a city paved in blood of angels, / Can you hear them scatter? Like a roach caught in the light, / They burrow in the shadows, / I look to children’s eyes; they breed an emptiness in stare, / They grow to feed like dogs that eat the blood, breeding anger from despair, / Fallen down, hope that is gone, / Somehow, try to move on, / This town, valley where the damned are who find resolution, / The city burned down but the ghosts survived, smoldering rage on the inside

Patient Zero is the first known case in any biological outbreak… Often scientists search for the patient zero to determine how the disease spread and what reservoir holds the disease in between outbreaks. First used by Dr. William Darrow and colleagues at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in the US in the early eighties in reference to the AIDS epidemic, and popularised by the writings of journalist Randy Shilts. In these days Advertising could be seen to spread the desire to consume in much the same way as a pandemic…buy buy buy. / Never Enjoy! detail: /
This image shows the lights remembering the Twin Towers over Manhattan on the 11th September 2007. The sombre air over the city lightens as the night descends and the beauty of the lights is exposed. The City awakes from melancholy and the streets have an electric feel as the inhabitants wander and wonder at the display.
HDR Enhanced view of the Southern tip of Manhattan on September 11 2007.

20×16” oil painting and ink on canvas. Inspired by Year Zero by NIN, specifically the track “In This Twilight.” This is my Resistance Fighter (a character I invented) and a dark self-portrait. The role we have in our planet’s destruction and ultimate demise is larger than we think. we’re all underground sometimes. ART IS RESISTANCE! Original painting not for sale. Lyrics to In This Twilight: watch the sun, / as it crawls across a final time / and it feels like, / like it was a friend. / it is watching us, / and the world we set on fire / do you wonder, / if it feels the same? and the sky is filled with light / can you see it? / all the black is really white / if you believe it / as your time is running out / let me take away your doubt / you can find a better a place / in this twilight from dust to dust, / ashes in your hair remind me / what it feels like / and I won’t feel again / night descends / could I have been a better person / if I could only do it all again and the sky is filled with light / can you see it? / all the black is really white / if you believe it / and the longing that you feel / you know none of this is real / you will find a better place / in this twilight

Can nothing be an important concept in itself? This poem pays homage to the invention of zero as a number, in the form of a rhyming riddle. And (foolishly for my sanity) I decided to add the constraint that the first letter of each line would spell out the alphabet. (Check out the text version here )
