Macrozamia is a genus of about 24 species of cycads from Australia. Their stems vary from cylindrical to almost circular close to ground level. The leaves are like palm fronds and are evergreen, reaching to 2.4m long in long elegant lengths. They produce large light green pineapple shaped cones, which later turn brown. This one was found in Kings Park Perth WA
