A selection of artwork featuring women
Have you heard of the time when all was all and separation didn’t exist? / I haven’t heard of it either but I’ve seen people searching and…
I study the thought forms manifest in the flesh
More inspiration from The Big Ballet. If I had a browser that I could deal with better (or a screen) I’d link to information on it for you. I’m very happy with the way this turned out, as it reminds me of fairies, delicacy, womanliness, and stained glass.
There is, or was, a show called The Big Ballet that featured less than (more than?) slim persons. I have not seen it, only pictures from it, but I like the idea. So, here is a piece inspired by the photos from the show. Consider it an homage to individuality.
Bubble, bubble, no toil, no trouble
lol when I say mostly digital, I mean it was mostly easy and mostly done by applying effects. There was some brief line drawing and coloring in done, though. I was looking for a certain effect, not to obvious and I got it. Sometimes, that’s all that counts.
Digital art print inspired by the form and pose of Anna Nicole Smith R.L.S. 9 08 2004 *RLS : aka: me! ........................................... Except that, now, I resigned it as AHS
The last, the brightest, and, possibly, the best of my works inspired by The Big Ballet. No, it’s not a copy of a photo that’s been manipulated. In fact, my version is smaller, more asian looking, and not as facially pretty as the ones I saw pictures of.
One of the last, to date, of my works inspired by The Big Ballet. No, it’s not a copy of a photo that’s been manipulated. In fact, my version is smaller, more asian looking, and not as facially pretty as the ones I saw pictures of.
Explanation of the creation of Fat Lady Refrigerator Mambo 3, a controversial digital/non-digital combination painting/drawing/manipulation (not necessarily in that order) about which one sister said: “You know, if ….. hadn’t said anything I may have thought that was you. I was relatively sure it wasn’t me because not big enough. Then I thought, Arletta doesn’t part her hair like that, who the heck is that. / / You should do a pic of me. “ and the other said “Thanks for the oh so flattering portrait, baby sister. I know where you live.”
Dolly is a commissioned illustration and a potential tattoo! From Wikipedia: / “Dolly Dimples” is a traditional name for large ladies who once made their living with freak shows at circuses and carnivals. The most famous “Dolly Dimples” was Celesta Geyer, who was billed as “The World’s Prettiest Fat Girl” and “The World’s Most Beautiful Fat Lady”. She sported dimples an inch deep at each elbow. About her diet / After surviving a near fatal heart attack in 1950, Dolly followed a strict 800 calorie per day diet and in little more than a year she reduced her weight to 112 pounds, maintaining the loss for the rest of her life. She regained her health and became an avid advocate of dieting and exercise. Dolly’s weight loss was recognised as a world record by the Guinness Book of World Records. / I guess I feel sort of betrayed by “Dolly”, she was so gorgeous as a sideshow fat lady!
