This is my friend Arun – which in Khmer means ‘Sun’. The light was coming through a tree and falling nicely on his face. This was taken at a Buddhist monastery in rural Cambodia. Arun has no parents, and the Buddhist monks are raising him. The image lends itself particularly well to black & white. The exposure was very tricky!

This is a photoshoot of my friends son “Mels”, he’s 8 years old and i really could not wait to do a shoot with him, I took 170 shots and these are some of the results. it was his first time that somebody took ‘so many’ photographs, he said from him , I think he was a wonderfull model…I hope you enjoy this serie’s

As a very young kid of the age of 7-8 I use to go out on to Skinner’s dock and fish with the locals and it was such a great adventure each time sharing the catch and watching the more experience people fishing for their dinners. / / /

THIS young fellow…age 3….NEVER STOPPED! The Pow Wow started at noon….didn’t end till almost 9….......he danced…walked…circles….hopped every chance he got. The only times i saw him slow down was to eat….get photos taken…and when there were contests going on that he couldn’t participate in. / I wonder…how long it NORMALLY takes his parents to get him to go to sleep? / From the Kickapoo Nation here in Kansas / ><> <>< ><> <>< ><> <>< / Featured in ‘Spirit Of the Native American’ / THANX SOOO MUCH!
