  • Colour pencil. / Drawn while on a stunning beach in Queensland. / The point where the sea and sand meet. The perfect blend of Yin and Yang is all around us, one just needs to look to nature to learn from it.

  • Yin and Yang – representing the duality of all things. The shiny new plastic against the more organic old kimono print. The light and the dark, the cool and the warm. All are represented here. But, as we all know, the world is not all black & white. There are also myriads of colors… This image was created from 2 areas of the same fractal formula and then combined and post-processed to get the final image. The original fractal was created in Fractal Explorer 2. This image would look right at home in a nice traditional study as well as a modern home or office.

  • 4 images combined to express devotion

  • How would you know Sweet, / If you didn’t know Sour… / How could you cherish one… / Without knowing the other… / There is not one alone, / They only exist because of each other… Just like Love, Happyness, Content… :c) *_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_ For the Photography 101 Group: This is one of the few pictures I actually planne dout. I had searched for a spot with contrasting, and wild colours, which would still “support” the lemon I had. It was for a photography competition with the theme “Sweet & Sour” – I was thinking long about it and everything came to my mind, cats, dogs, a happy child vs. a sad child – that at the end I opted to go as simple as possible. I chose my props (Lemon, Pralines) and then I chose the spot (a planted traffic island). Of course, I wanted to have the flowers in the background, as well as the chocolate and the lemon visible. / I wanted the background blurry and soft, yet still distinguishable as flowers. / I photogrpahed with my Canon EOS 33 and a ISO 200 Film. I used focal length of about 50mm and walked in closely to fit the Lemon and Pralines into a large part of the picture. With an F-stop of about 4.0 (the farthest my Lense would go), I snapped that picture – giving me the flowers still distinguishable even if soft (had I used or had an 2.8 on that lense, one probably would only have seen colourful mash in the background) – the lemon and pralines I had nice and in focus :)

  • Exploring the yin/yang and moon/sun theme in colour. / Drawing: Anthea / Colour and Embossing: Vasile

  • This is a digitally rendered artwork of a base photograph I took at Fiasco Bros. Recording Studios. Using a filter called Weave in the program ACDsee Pro as the first stage, then using another filter in Photoshop called Colored Pencil and then adjusted curves to my liking. The owner of the studio loved it and has a copy hanging in the reception area. I had the vision of yin yang in my head and I wanted to find a way to show that style of design musically. By nesting two electric guitars together on the ground I found that yin yang visual I was looking for and then worked on the image from there. Thank you for your views and comments.

  • I thought the dark/light background had a certain symbolic yin/yang appeal…

  • Watercolour painting

  • Again,my son Duane inspired this piece with his love for anything Asian.

  • This piece was designed to be a meditation poster, I built it to be printed wall size. If you knew how much time it took my sanity would be suspect. :) Most of the time was spent smoothing the edges of every little separate color and shape so when printed large there would be no fuzzy edges. The file size for the original is over 20 gig, this picture does not do it justice so here’s a couple close-ups to show some detail. ...

  • this took a long time

  • Yin and Yang, Light and Dark , Love and Hate. Balance is the key. Life is a dream, life is a nightmare. / What you make of your life is all up to you and no one else. You choose what happens in your life. / From the moment you were born into this world your destiny started. / The only real destiny is “love”. / Without this there will only be pain and sorrow. Allow the love to flow into your life. / Allow yourself to accept the love of others and also allow yourself to feel love. / Love can heal and conquer all. Open up your heart and “feel”. Look into your heart and the truth will always prevail. / Love is all there is and all that should be. Digital art. All of my art is copyrighted and does not belong to the public domain.
