  • How to get details of a digital photograph file in Windows.

More groups on RB are expecting information on the digital picture that you have taken. A lot of photography doesn’t require such detail, just a great photo. If you are in a situation where someone asks for the f-stop or ISO, this could be your guide on how to get the info you need. When you take photos from most digital cameras these days, they carry Exif information. Exchangeable image file format (Exif) that uses the existing JPEG, TIFF Rev. 6.0, and RIFF WAV file formats, with the addition of specific metadata tags. It is not supported in JPEG 2000, PNG, or GIF. For most who upload the .JPG files directly from the camera, this should work. To get the Exif properties from Vista and XP: In both versions, you go to the picture on the hard drive (From My Computer or Explorer in a File Manager view) and right click it. The menu that pops up should have “Properties” at the bottom of the menu list. In Vista, left click “Properties” and the Properties box has two or more tabs. Click on the “Details” tab and scroll down until you see the info you need. In XP, left click “Properties” then click the Summary tab and then click on the Advanced button. This should get you the values you are looking for. Disclaimer: This is a general guide. There might be issues with the digital picture, operating system or camera. This is only meant to assist in the extraction of the digital picture details.

  • Nothing quite like having more than a few hundred horses under your butt, covered in red leather and a gleaming paint job and chrome. Info: As previous except this time the strobe is being directed from camera right to highlight the red interior.

  • Another Incendia fractal that did a lot to teach me. I left this one in the oven for almost two days and the results seem worth the extra processing time. It STILL wasn’t quite finished and it didn’t seem likely Incendia was going to finish the project the way I wanted it, PS4 wasn’t able to make it totality perfect. So I saved the buffers and parameters, and loaded the same basic fractal in Incendia again. One more day of work on it and I’m convinced this fractal just isn’t finished even yet but I’m starting to like it better. LOL! Anyway, I hope you like it somewhere between raw and charred. :-D

In case you have the same issue you can download it here / tbb.dll I always recommend burning all your programs and other downloads to a DVD as they hold far more files than an ordinary CD.R . Often antivirus programs detect this file and assume it is a trojan or other virus and yes often the name has been given to such virus’s, but the Antivirus software is just as good as the operator, so always be sure to do a backup of your system and/or do a review of the files before you hit the delete key.. as some may not be virus’s at all but necessary operators for your software programs.. which could result in you having to do a fresh copy losing much of your already installed plugins etc.. grr so frustrating! So burn a copy of this and your plugins etc to disc, that way if you need it in future you will always have instant access.. learnt that the hard way.. ;) Once you download the tbb.dll file save a copy of it to the main program ie: if the program is Photoshop you will save it to the following / C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3 / run the program and wallah all fixed! / cheers Kaz / x
